This landmark conference marks the first time ISMC will be held in the Americas and completes the first round of the exciting "Soft Matter Around the World in Three Years" series, with conferences rotating between continents annually. Endorsed by the IUPAP Working Group 15 – Soft Matter https://iupap.org/who-we-are/internal-organization/working-groups/wg15-soft-matter/ and proudly sponsored by the newly established Soft Matter Association of the Americas https://soft-matter.com, this initiative reflects a global commitment to advancing soft matter research. The ISMC has a rich history, with six successful conferences previously held in Europe (2007 Aachen, Germany; 2010 Granada, Spain; 2013 Rome, Italy; 2016 Grenoble, France; 2019 Edinburgh, UK; and 2022 Poznan, Poland). The 7th ISMC, held in 2023 in Osaka, Japan, marked the first conference of this kind in Asia, further expanding the global reach and impact of soft matter research.
We look forward to seeing you at ISMC2024 in Raleigh!
