This year's International Congress on Rheology will be held virtually 13-18th December, 2020. The British Society of Rheology will be offering the following funding opportunities to members.
Applicants must be a BSR member of at least 9 months standing, with the exception of new students who started their degree in 2020; in this case a payment for 2020-21 membership is sufficient. Existing BSR members are reminded that the membership year begins on 1st October 2020 and their 2020-21 membership payment must have been made to be eligible for any award.
Virtual `Travel' Awards: Student and Early-Career Members
The British Society of Rheology will accept applications to cover the costs of the conference registration fees from both student and early-career members1. The Society aims to support ALL students and four early-career scientists wishing to attend the virtual ICR.
**Unlike our usual travel awards, you do not need to be giving a presentation at the conference to apply.
Short Course Funding
In addition, ALL members can apply for funding to attend the Virtual ICR's Short Course. The Society aims to support four members to attend the short course.
